Josef Lontscharitsch

Josef Lontscharitsch (* April 11, 1970 in Madrid ) is a former Austrian cyclist.

Josef Lontscharitsch was a versatile racer on the road and on the track. In 1987, he was third at the Junior Road World Championships in Bergamo and was the first Austrian, who managed to win a World Championship medal in the road race in the juniors. In 1995 he was Austrian road master; In 1998, he was able to win the national title again. In the Tour of Austria, he won in 1999 and 2000, the sprint jersey.
