Josef Steindl

Josef Steindl (* April 14, 1912, † March 7, 1993 ) was an Austrian economist.

Josef Steindl studied economics under the influence of the Austrian School. After the "Anschluss of Austria", he emigrated to the UK and became a follower of Michał Kalecki.

In 1950 he returned to Austria and was until 1978 when, among other WIFO working.
