Josep Pintat-Solans

Josep Pintat - Solans (* 1925 in Sant Julia de Loria, † October 20, 2007 in Barcelona ) was an Andorran politician and deputy chairman of the Government of Andorra.

Life

Pintat - Solans was born in 1925 in Andorra and rose in 1960s as mayor of his home town of Sant Julia de Loria in politics. On 21 May 1984 he was elected by the Consell General de les Valls for the second Chairman of the Government of Andorra and spent six years in this position. His nephew and later Chairman of the Government Albert Pintat Santolària had different tasks in Pintat - Solans Cabinet. He died on 20 October 2007 after a long illness in Barcelona.
