Joseph Adamy

Joseph Adamy ( born January 15, 1778 in Oberwesel, † February 24, 1849 in Hadamar ) was a Nassauischer mine owners and politicians. From 1828 to 1832 he was a member of the Nassau Parliament.

Policy

After the death of Jacob Preuss in December 1826, he was elected as a representative of the group of landowners in the constituency of Dillenburg in Nassau parliament. He remained four years deputy. 1832 the mandate he was denied because he was one of the 15 MPs who boycotted the parliament in protest against the pair thrust of 1831 as part of the Nassau domain dispute in 1832.

Adamy was in 1849 a member of the " Association for the implementation of the Constitution and to preserve the rights of the people "

Family

Adamy Joseph was the son of the surgeon (Franz) Joseph Adamy (* 1744/45; † March 6, 1784 in Oberwesel ) and his wife Catharina, born Herbrand ( wedding on November 25, 1772). Joseph Adamy married on September 6, 1801 in Hadamar his first wife Christina, née Scheibel (11 June 1765-12. February 1818 ). After Christina's death, he married on 24 March 1819 in Mainz in second marriage his wife Therese, born in Leyden ( born August 8, 1877). Joseph Adamy was Roman Catholic.
