Joseph D. Early

Joseph Daniel Early ( born January 31, 1933, Worcester, Massachusetts, † November 9, 2012 ) was an American politician. Between 1975 and 1993 he represented the state of Massachusetts in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Joseph Early attended the public schools of his home and thereafter until 1955, the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. Between 1955 and 1957 he served in the U.S. Navy. From 1959 to 1963 he worked as a teacher in Shrewsbury and Spencer. At the same time he proposed as a member of the Democratic Party launched a political career. From 1963 to 1974 he sat as an MP in the House of Representatives from Massachusetts. Between 1964 and 1970 he took part in the party days of the Democrats at the state level as a delegate.

In the congressional elections of 1974 was early in the third electoral district of Massachusetts in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Harold Donohue on January 3, 1975. After eight re- election he was able to complete in Congress until January 3, 1993 nine legislative sessions. Early in 1992 Joseph was not re-elected in the wake of the House banking scandal. As a result, it is no longer politically have appeared. He spent his life in his hometown of Worcester.
