Joseph Kofi Adda

Honourable Joseph Kofi Adda ( born April 22, 1956 Navrongo, Ghana ) was a Ghanaian Minister of Energy in the government of John Agyekum Kufuor until his release in March 2008. Adda is married and has two children. In addition to his ministerial position Adda is a member of the Ghanaian Parliament for the constituency of Navrongo Central since 2003.

Adda studied between 1979 and 1982 at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion College in the United States. Here he graduated summa cum laude in Economics and Political Science. Between 1982 and 1984, Adda was enrolled at Columbia University in New York and finished his studies with a Master in International Affairs, specializing in finance and banking.
