Joseph L. Rhinock

Joseph Lafayette Rhinock ( born January 4, 1863 in Owenton, Owen County, Kentucky; † September 20, 1926 in New Rochelle, New York ) was an American politician. Between 1905 and 1911 he represented the state of Kentucky in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

Even in his youth drew Joseph Rhinock to Covington, where he attended the public schools. He then became involved in the oil industry. Politically, he was a member of the Democratic Party. He was first elected to the City Council of Covington and was 1893-1900 Mayor of this city. In the congressional elections of 1904 Rhinock in the sixth constituency of Kentucky was in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Daniel Linn Gooch on March 4, 1905. After two re- election he was able to complete in Congress until March 3, 1911 three legislative periods.

1910 was Rhinock from another candidacy. In the following years and decades, he became involved in the theater business. In New York City and Cincinnati, he was a board member of several theater companies in various capacities. In addition, he went into business with horse racing by, he participated in their respective companies. Joseph Rhinock died on September 20, 1926 on his estate " Bonnie Crest" near New Rochelle, New York. He was buried in Covington.
