Joseph Mahmoud

Joseph Mahmoud ( born December 13, 1955 in Safi ) is a French former track and field athlete of Moroccan origin, who raced mainly in the obstacle course.

He was from 1980 to 1985 was followed by six times in a row champion of France in the 3000 -meter steeplechase, two more titles in 1989 and 1992. At the World Athletics Championships 1983 in Helsinki he finished fourth in the steeplechase. The following month he celebrated winning the title at the Mediterranean Games in Casablanca.

The most significant success of his career scoring Mahmoud at the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
