Joseph Morgan (actor)

Joseph Morgan (born 16 May 1981 in London or Swansea, Wales as Joseph Martin ) is a British actor.

Life and career

After Joseph Morgan had made at Morriston Comprehensive School graduating, he moved to London, where he attended the Central School of Speech and Drama, there to learn acting.

His acting career before the camera started in 2003, when he was cast in two television productions. That same year, he received a role in the Oscar- winning film Master and Commander - The Far Side of the World. For the film adaptation of the life of Alexander the Great Morgan slipped into the role of Philotas. In the following years he was mainly seen in television series such as 2008 to 2009 in Casualty. In 2010 he played the title role in the remake of the monumental film Ben Hur. From 2011 to 2013 he starred in the role of Niklaus " Klaus" Mika Elson in the television series The Vampire Diaries. Embodies same role since 2013 in the spin-off The Originals. In April 2012 he was given a starring role alongside Sharlto Copley and Erin Richards in 2013 appearing Gonzalo López- Gallego oncoming horror film Open Grave.
