Joseph Netherclift

Joseph Netherclift (* September 8, 1792, † April 8, 1863 ) was an English composer and lithographer.

It was in 1829 awarded a medal for his method of lithography. In addition, he produced lithographic facsimiles of historical documents at least in 1833.

Its perhaps best known musical work is "We Happy Shepherd Swains ," a madrigal for four voices.

Netherclift died on 8 April 1863 and was buried in the Cemetery Brompton Cemetery in London.
