Joseph P. Kennedy III

Joseph Patrick Kennedy ( born October 4, 1980 in Boston, Massachusetts) is an American politician (Democratic Party) and a lawyer. He was in 2012 elected to the House of Representatives of the United States.

Life

Born in Boston's Brighton Joseph Kennedy is the son of Joseph Patrick Kennedy II, grandson of Robert F. Kennedy and great nephew of John F. Kennedy. He studied at the Stanford University Industrial Engineering and earned a Bachelor's degree there in 2003. From 2004 to 2006 he served in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic. Kennedy then worked as a financial analyst and served from 2011 to 2012 as Deputy District Attorney in Middlesex County.
