Joseph Perry (bishop)

Joseph Nathaniel Perry ( born April 18, 1948 in Chicago, United States) is Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago.

Life

Joseph Perry received on 24 May 1975, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.

May 5, 1998, Pope John Paul II appointed Titular Bishop of Lead and Auxiliary Bishop of Chicago. The Archbishop of Chicago, Francis Cardinal George, OMI, gave him on 29 June of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the archbishop of Milwaukee, Rembert Weakland, OSB, and the auxiliary bishop in Chicago, George Vance Murry SJ.
