Joseph Ruben
Prior to working as a director, he studied at the University of Michigan film and theater. At Brandeis University, he received his degree.
His debut as a director, screenwriter and film producer, he was in 1974 with the film The Sister-in -Law. Two years later, he did not stage the youth film Mach me!, For which he also wrote the screenplay. Initially focused only on comedies, he turned with Dreamscape - Dreamscape 1984 his first horror film, followed by mainly thriller.
