Joseph Tiefenthaler

Joseph Tiefenthaler (also called " Tieffenthaler " or " Tieffentaller " ) ( born August 27, 1710 in Bolzano, † July 5, 1785 in Lucknow ) was a Jesuit missionary and described it as one of the first geographers India. After the dissolution of the Jesuit order, he remained in India.
