Joseph Toal

Joseph Anthony Toal ( born October 13, 1956 in Roy Bridge, Scotland ) is Bishop of Argyll and the Isles.

Life

Joseph Anthony Toal received on 10 July 1980, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On 16 October 2008 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him. Bishop of Argyll and the Isles. The Archbishop of Saint Andrews and Edinburgh, Cardinal Keith Patrick O'Brien, donated to him on 8 December of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Bishop Emeritus of Argyll and the Isles, Ian Murray, and the apostolic nuncio in the United Kingdom, Archbishop Faustino Sainz Muñoz.
