Joseph Zito

Joseph Zito ( born May 14, 1946 in New York City ) is an American film director and producer.

Prior to serving as Director Zito holds a degree in Economics and Psychology. He also was the owner of a cinema.

His debut as a director, he was in 1975 with the film Patty - The most wanted woman in America. Following this, he directed several horror films, including fork of Death ( 1981) as well as with Friday the 13th Part IV - The last chapter of the fourth part of the Friday the 13th film series. In the following years, Zito was shooting for Cannon Films B- Movies Action Missing in Action, Invasion USA and Red Scorpion. He worked with this Chuck Norris and Dolph Lundgren. Other film projects for Cannon Films were not realized. So Zito was planning its own Spiderman movie.

After producing the action movie fusion Factor - If power to the deadly danger in 2002, he ended his career as a director. Since then he has worked on the revision of screenplays and is involved in documentaries.
