Josephine Henning ( born September 8, 1989 in Trier ) is a German football player. The defender has since 2010 at the Bundesliga VfL Wolfsburg under contract.

Career

Henning began her career at TuS Issel. Later, she spent a year with the MSG Zewen / hedgehogs and in summer 2005, then 1 FC Saarbrücken, for which she received her first games in the 2nd Bundesliga. In summer 2007 team rose to the 1st Bundesliga on, but the next year again. Henning played in the 2007/ 08 season 21 Bundesliga games, the first on 19 August 2007, in the 1-1 draw at SC Freiburg. With Saarbrücken they reached the final of the DFB Cup, but it lost to the 1st FFC Frankfurt with 1:5.

For the season 2009/10 she moved to 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam, with whom she won the German Cup, the DFB Cup Hall and the Women's Champions League in the first year. For the season 2011/12 she moved to Wolfsburg.

On 29 September 2007, she completed her debut in the U-19 national team in the 12-0 win over Macedonia in Strumica. In the U-19 European Championship 2008, it failed with the German team in the semi-finals with 3:5 nE to Norway. In the same year she reached the U-20 national team at the World Cup in Chile, where she stood in all six matches of the German team on the pitch, to third place. On 26 May 2010 they played in the 2-2 draw in the United States U-23 National team and came on September 15, 2010 game against Canada to its first use in the senior team.
