Josh Beckett ( born May 15, 1980 in Spring, Texas ) is an American baseball player in the MLB. He plays at the position of the pitcher. Currently Beckett is with the Los Angeles Dodgers under contract.

With the Florida Marlins won the World Series Beckett in 2003 and was subsequently elected as the MVP of the series. In 2007 he again won the World Series, this time in the jersey of Red Sox.

On August 25, 2012 Josh Beckett was submitted along with first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, Carl Crawford left fielder and utility player Nick Punto in a change at the Los Angeles Dogers.
