Josh Duhamel
Joshua David Duhamel ( born November 14, 1972 in Minot, North Dakota ) is an American actor and is best known for his role in the television series Las Vegas.
Life
After the divorce of his parents Duhamel grew up with his mother. He graduated from Minot State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and then moved to California, where he started working as a model for fashion magazines. In 1997, he won the IMTA Model of the Year Award.
From 1999 to 2002 Duhamel starred in the ABC soap opera All My Children, 2003, he landed a role in the television series Las Vegas. After a first starring role in the independent film The Picture of Dorian Gray, he had 2004 total with Tad Hamilton, where Kate Bosworth and Topher Grace participated, only moderate success. He had a success with the 2010 released romantic comedy Life As We Know, where he had next to Katherine Heigl another major role.
In 2004, Duhamel separated from the model Kristy Pierce. Besides his work as an actor, he is CEO of his own restaurants, 10 North Main, in his home town.
Since January 10, 2009 Duhamel is married to Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. On 29 August 2013, the duo's first child, a son got.
On March 23, 2013, he hosted the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards in Los Angeles.
