Josh Freese

Josh Freese ( born December 25, 1972 in Orlando, Florida) is an American drummer. He lives since he was 6 months old, in Southern California. He grew up in a musical family: his father conducted the Disneyland band and the mother was a classical pianist. In addition, he is the brother of Jason Freese, who plays for Green Day saxophone and keyboards in appearances.

Life

He plays since he was 7 or 8 years old drums. Since the age of 12 he plays professionally, and at 15 he began touring and recording. His first band was Dweezil Zappa, was followed by The Vandals, to which he still belongs. He also belongs to the solid cast of A Perfect Circle, and even when he was part of the band Devo. In addition, he has also worked as a studio musician and worked in this capacity at its own estimate from 2003 to 250 to 300 albums with, among others, Paramore, The Offspring, 311, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Chris Cornell, Evanescence, Guns N 'Roses, Juliana Hatfield, Mike Ness, Nine inch Nails, Paul Westerberg, Perry Farrell, Seether, Sting and Suicidal Tendencies.
