Josh Lucas

Josh Lucas ( born June 20, 1971 in Little Rock, Arkansas; actually Joshua Lucas Easy Dent Maurer ) is an American actor and producer.

Biography

Lucas ' parents were active as anti-nuclear, before they settled in Arkansas. As a child, Josh Lucas had to change at least 30 times the place of residence, as his parents wanted to provide the safest home to him always. Unlike his two siblings he did not attend college. Instead, he wanted to devote himself to acting.

The first time he was in the 1991 television production The child of Satan in front of the camera. In the following years, he starred in several films, but the big break he did not succeed. In 1993 and 1994 he took supporting roles in feature films such as survival! and the kidnappers. Only eight years later ( 2002) was Lucas with the movies A Beautiful Mind - making genius and madness, and The Weight of Water attention. He also played in the same year alongside Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama - Raising Helen in Wolfgang Petersen's and 2006 disaster film Poseidon.

Overall, Lucas was involved in more than 35 film projects, including in the commercial failure of Stealth - Under the radar (with Jamie Foxx ).
