Joshua the High Priest
Yeshua (also Joshua ), the son of Jehozadak was, about 515-490 BC, high priest of Israel. In Zechariah 3:1-10 and Zechariah 3:1-10 Targum, in a polemical night visions of Zechariah, the spirit of the late high priest appears in a heavenly court.
In the Hebrew text Yeshua is called יהושע ( Yehoshua ), in the Book of Ezra as ישוע ( Yeshua ) in the book of Zechariah. German translations of the Bible use mostly uniform Yeshua. Other forms are Joshua and Joshua.
