Josiah Ng

Josiah Ng Onn Lam ( born February 2, 1980 in Manila ) is a Malaysian track cyclist.

Since 2002 Josiah Ng is internationally active in cycling. At the Asian Games in Busan in that year he was third in the Keirin. Since then, he finished several times in World Cup race podiums and placed himself at UCI Track World Championships in the top ten. In 2006 he was second place in both the keirin at the Oceania Championships and the Asian Games. He also drove in several years already successful in the Japanese Keirin series.

Twice, in 2004 and 2008, Josiah Ng competed in the Olympic Games. His best finish was a sixth place in the keirin at the 2004 Games in Athens. At the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, he won the gold medal in the Keirin and the bronze medal in the team sprint.

2013 was Ng double Asian champion in the sprint and keirin in. In the second round of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2013/2014 in Aguascalientes Ng crashed in the first round of the keirin competition and was seriously injured.

In 2004, Ng was elected in his home country "Sportsman of the Year". He lives with his family and trained in Melbourne. He starts team for the Malaysian YSD Track.
