Josiane Tito

Josiane Tito, full name Josiane da Silva Tito ( born August 8, 1979 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian sprinter and middle distance runner.

In 2003, she won at the IAAF Championships South America in Barquisimeto bronze in the 400m.

In the 4 x 400 meters relay she left with the Brazilian team at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens in the flow. At the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki in 2005, the Brazilian quartet qualified with a South record for the finale, but was disqualified there.

In 2007, she won the 400m at the South Championships in São Paulo and was at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro Fifth over 800 m. At the World Championships in Osaka she left about 800 m and the 4 x 400 - meter relay in the run- off as well as at the 2008 Olympics in the 4 x 400 - meter relay.

2009, she was denied after a recently conducted drug testing had revealed a positive result for erythropoietin ( EPO), the silver medal over 800 meters at the South Championships in Lima. Because of this violation of the doping regulations, a two -year ban was imposed.
