Josie Bissett

Josie Bissett ( born October 5, 1970 in Seattle, Washington; actually Jolynn Christine Today Maker) is an American actress.

Life and career

Bissett went at the age of 16 years to Japan to begin a career as a model. There they lay with the stage name Josie Bissett. In the 1980s, she first appeared in a music video and later took acting lessons. Then she got small roles (including Parker Lewis, Doogie Howser ) and some offers for commercials (including Sprite, Calvin Klein).

1991 Bissett met at an audition for the fellow actor Rob Estes, whom she married on May 1, 1992, a year later. In 1992, she received the lead role of Jane Mancini on the television series Melrose Place, which she played until the middle of the fifth season. She left the series when she was pregnant, but returned in 1998 after a miscarriage in the series back. The U.S. magazine People chose them in 1996 under the 50 most beautiful people in the world.

In autumn 2003, Bissett had after a four year break a guest appearance on the series Law & Order: SVU. 2005, our children, in which they next Rob Estes plays the mother of a large family followed the movie Yours, Mine.

Beginning of 2006, Bissett separated from Estes with which they two children together (* 1999 and * 2002). However, in August 2006, they officially announced the separation of Estes in a TV show known and demanded a divorce.
