Josip Belušić (* 1847 in Labin, then Austria - Hungary, now Croatia / Istria peninsula; †? ) Was a Croatian inventor.

Life

Belušić invented in 1888 the first speedometer. His invention was patented in Austria - Hungary under the name " velocimeter ". He was, inter alia, Professor in Koper.
