Journal of Cell Biology

The Journal of Cell Biology, abbreviated J. Cell Biol, is a scientific journal that is published by the publisher Rockefeller University Press. The first edition appeared in 1955 under the name Journal of Biophysical and Biochemical Cytology. In 1962 the name was changed to the currently valid name. Currently, the journal is published twenty-six times a year. There are published articles that deal with morphological, biophysical and biochemical studies of cells, their components and their products.
