Concept

China currently offered studies and reports with a focus on politics, economics and society. Important current events come up in background analysis. The journal was supplemented by available as an online publication data currently part of China Data Supplement, which has been continually updated and changes in political leadership offices, institutions, laws, etc. documented.

The scientific papers were subjected prior to its publication a double- anonymous review process ( peer review ) to ensure the quality of the contributions.

The magazine turned to professionals who deal in science and politics, in business, administration and media in China, as well as to all those who in principle ( including Hong Kong and Macau), and Taiwan are interested in the developments in the PRC. The magazine was part of the inventory of many public and academic libraries in Germany and abroad and has been, for example, at the University of Bonn classified as one of the most important German periodicals on current developments in China.

China was currently a part of the German Research Foundation ( DFG) Open Access Pilot Project. China currently has been transferred to the Open Access journal and offered in addition to the print version online worldwide.
