Journal of English and Germanic Philology

The Journal of Germanic Philology and English ( JEPG ) is an American internationally oriented scientific journal of the anglistischen, Germanic and Celtic Medieval Studies involving the Nordic. The magazine was founded in 1897 and is now editorially supervised by the medieval studies department of the English Department of the University of Illinois and currently edited by Martin Camargo, Marianne Kalinke, Charles Wright. The journal is published in the university publishing house of the University of Illinois Press.

Thematically, the emphasis is on the cultural studies of English, German and other Germanic and Celtic -speaking regions of the medieval north-western Europe.
