Jowell & Randy

Jowell y Randy are a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo composed of Joel A. Muñoz Martínez and Randy Acevedo Ortiz.

Band History

Start times

Before their time together both experiences in Reggaeton could collect and participated in various music productions. Jowell recorded his first song titled Los Fugitivos 1996. Randy had his first recording two years later together for a CD of the magazine In the House with some other artists. First met, the two musicians have in 2000 through a mutual producer, who then brought together. 2002 they recorded their first single Todavía recuerdo. Since this single was well received at a radio station, it was decided to continue working together.

Shared music career

Jowell and Randy have taken care in the United States a stir when they recorded their fourth single No voy a parar. Later they were on the CD Chosen Few II: El Documental involved and made for the CD in 45 cities beyond the U.S. advertising. Since then she has also participated in various productions of other reggaeton artists.

In 2007, both founded along with Guelo Star, J -King Maximan and the group Casa de Leones. The debut album by the group was published on 26 June 2007 and is titled Los Leones. It reached # 3 on the U.S. Latin album chart and # 126 on the Billboard 200 also contains the hit song No te veo, the number 4 on the Latin Charts.

The first studio album by Jowell and Randy as a duo, Los mas sueltos del reggaeton, appeared on 18 December 2007, but only reached number 42 on the Latin Albums.
