Joy Air is a regional airline based in Xi'an in central China's Shaanxi province of the People's Republic of China.
History
The airline was founded in March 2008 as a joint venture between China Eastern Airlines and China's air and space company AVIC I. AVIC I has held the majority share of 60 %, China Eastern Airlines, the remaining 40 % of the new airline. With the joint venture, the sale and marketing of aircraft made in China is to be pursued.
