Joyce Fitch
Joyce Fitch ( born April 3, 1922) is a former Australian tennis player.
Career
In 1946 she won with her compatriot Mary Bevis the women's doubles at the Australian Tennis Championships (now the Australian Open ). They defeated Thelma Long and Nancye Wynne Bolton in straight sets 9:7, 6:4. It was the first doubles competition in Melbourne after a break of five years (1941 to 1945), which was inserted because of the Second World War.
