Joyce King

Joyce King ( born September 1, 1920 in Sydney, † 10 June 2001) was an Australian sprinter.

In 1948 she won the national championships gold in the 100 yards and 220 yards.

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948, she won the team silver medal in the 4 x 100 - meter relay with teammates Shirley Strickland, June Maston and Betty McKinnon, behind the team of the Netherlands ( gold ) and before the team of Canada ( bronze).
