Jože Prelogar

Jože Prelogar ( born March 5, 1959 in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian football coach and former football player.

Career

The previously relatively unknown in Austria Prelogar was surprisingly appointed in December 2009 as the successor to Frenkie Schinkel as the new coach of the Austrian Bundesliga side SK Austria Kärnten. Most recently, he oversaw the Slovenian third division side NK Radomlje. More coach stations were co- coach of the Slovenian national team ( 2004-2007 ), even before he was appointed to the coaching staff of the A - Team, he worked between 2002 and 2004 for the Slovenian Association as coach of the Slovenian U 17 and U 18 - Teams.Sein relation to Austria is given by its commitment to Austria Klagenfurt from 1987 until 1992. Prelogar received in Carinthia a contract until the end of the season, which will be automatically extended in the case of class receipt. However Prelogar could not prevent the descent of Klagenfurt. Since the club after the season also had to file for bankruptcy, Prelogar was unemployed. On June 15, 2013 Prelogar was introduced as the new coach of SK Austria Klagenfurt. He gets there a contract for two years.

Prelogar is considered tough coach who calls and cohesion among players, officials, coaches and supporters of his team's tactical discipline and combat readiness.

Achievements

As a player he was four times Slovenian champion and top scorer.
