Juan Bautista Agüero
Juan Bautista Agüero Sánchez ( * June 24, 1935 ) is a former football player ( striker ) from Paraguay.
Club career
Juan Bautista Agüero started his career with the Paraguayan capital club Olimpia Asunción. In 1958 he moved to Europe and played seven years from now for the Spanish side Sevilla FC. Subsequently, he was still one year when capital club Real Madrid and FC Granada under contract. In 1967, he finished his career.
National team career
During the Football World Cup 1958 Agüero came in all three games of Paraguay used. He scored two goals. He is today Paraguay scorer in World Cup history. In the first match Paraguay took on Scotland in this game Aguero scored in the fourth minute the 1-0 opening goal, the game ended 3-2. This was the first victory of Paraguay in a World Cup. His second goal was Aguero achieve in the third group match against Yugoslavia. Since this game ended 3:3, Paraguay, which would have needed a win different, out of the tournament.
