Juan Carlos Sistos

Juan Carlos Sistos Belmonte (born 23 March 1992 Lázaro Cárdenas ) is a Mexican racing driver. He started from 2010 to 2012 in the European F3 Open.

Career

Sistos began his motorsport career in 2003 in karting. In 2006 he moved to Formula racing. He competed in the Skip Barber Mid Western Regional Series, a regional formula series from the United States. In 2007 he participated in two regional series of the Skip Barber and the Skip Barber National Championship. In the national championship he finished eleventh. He also drove in Formula Renault 2.0 Panam GP Series. 2008 Sistos went into the LATAM Challenge Series at the start. With a podium placement he placed ninth in the championship.

2009 saw Sistos to Europe. He went on for several teams in the Euro Series 3000. With a fourth place as best result he finished eighth in the drivers' standings. He also participated in the Winter Trophy of the Italian Formula 2000 Light part. 2010 Sistos received a cockpit at Emiliodevillota Motorsport in the European F3 Open. A third place at the season finale was his best result and he was ninth overall. He defeated his teammate Fernando Monje internally, who scored the sixth. In addition, he competed in six races of the British Formula 3 championship in the national class. 2011 remained at Sistos Emiliodevillota Motorsport in the European F3 Open. With regular points finishes, four podium finishes and a second place as best result he improved to fourth place in the drivers' standings. He also walked four races of the Italian Formula Renault at the start. 2012 Sistos denied his third season in the European F3 Open for Emiliodevillota Motorsport. Already at the start of the season he won his first race. At the end of the season Sistos, who stood in no other race on the podium finished in seventh place in the drivers' standings. In addition, he took for Zele Racing on a race weekend of the Auto GP World Series, the former Euro Series 3000, in part.
