Juan Miguel Mercado
Juan Miguel Mercado Martin ( born July 8, 1978 in Granada ) is a Spanish cyclist.
Career
Mercado is a professional cyclist since 1998. Until 2000 he drove for the team Vitalicio - Seguros, then moved to ibanesto.com, 2004 to further Quickstep, 2006 and 2007 he drove in Agritubel.
His greatest successes were the victory on the 18th stage of the 2004 Tour de France, winning the Tour of Austria in 2005 and the victory on the 10th stage of the Tour de France 2006. Besides are more victories in the Spanish tour, for example in Burgos tour of 2001, the Vuelta a Castilla y León 2002 and the Catalan week 2002.
