Juan Padrón

Juan Padrón ( born January 29, 1947 in Havana ) is Cuba's first and most famous animation film director.

He is the creator of Elpidio Valdés, the character of numerous short films and two feature films. He obtained with the animated film ¡ Vampiros en La Habana! , Which is aimed primarily at adults and because of the unusual plot followed suit a certain cult around the film to international prominence. Padrón has directed six feature films and numerous short films. His Filminutos are one-minute comedy skits for adults.
