Juan (actually Juan Silveira dos Santos, born 1 February 1979 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil ) is a Brazilian footballer. The skilled central defender is distinguished by its excellent heading ability, what he knows to take advantage in offensive set pieces.

Career

Association

Juan played from 1996 to 2002 for the Brazilian club Flamengo. There he was able to celebrate his first successes. 1999 won the team the Copa Mercosur and the State Championship in Rio de Janeiro. 2000 and 2001 the title of the State Championship was successfully defended.
