Juanjo Puigcorbé

Juanjo Puigcorbé ( born July 22, 1955 in Barcelona, born Juan José Puigcorbé Benaigues ) is a Spanish film actor and screenwriter.

Life and achievements

Puigcorbé debuted as an actor in 1976 in an independent theater company. His first film role came in the comedy L' Orgia from 1978, for which he also co-wrote the screenplay. The main role in the film Pasión lejana (1986 ) brought him the same year an award of the Sitges Festival Internacional de Cinema de Catalunya. For his role in the comedy salsa rosa (1992 ) he won the 1992 price of Peniscola Comedy Film Festival. As a lead actor in the television series Villarriba y Villabajo of 1994, he won the 1995 Premios Edición Unión de Actores and Fotogramas de Plata, he also was nominated for the 1995 TP de Oro. The main role in the movie My Soul Brother ( 1994) earned him the 1995 price Sant Jordi.

In the comedy Who loves to live dangerously (1996 ) Puigcorbé played the role of a man who for decades combines love of a woman, which was embodied in the early years of Penelope Cruz and at the age of Ana Belén. For his appearances in the television series Un chupete para ella he won the 2001 Fotogramas de Plata and was nominated in 2001 and 2002 for the TP de Oro and 2001 for the Edición Premios Unión de Actores. His role in the comedy Inconscientes (2004) earned him the 2005 price Premis Barcelona de Cinema.

Puigcorbé born in 1987 has a daughter.
