Jubail

Al- Jubail (Arabic الجبيل, DMG al - Ǧubail, also Al -Jubail Jubail or ) is a city in eastern Saudi Arabia. It is located in the administrative unit " Eastern Province " (Arabic: al- Sharqiyah ) in the Persian Gulf, about 100 kilometers north of Dammam. On 25 July 2011, the U.S. chemical giant Dow Chemical and the oil company Saudi Aramco announce to form a joint company named Sadara Chemical Company. The company should include the establishment of the largest petrochemical industrial complex in the world in Al- Jubail. A total of 26 production facilities here the basic and polymer chemistry are built with an investment of around 20 billion U.S. dollars. Completion is expected in 2016.
