Judah III

Judah III. (ca. 265 -ca. 330) was a Jewish patriarch.

Judah III. or Jude III. belonged to the second, according to others the third generation of the Amora.

He was the son and successor of Gamaliel IV as nasi. Hillel II was the son of Judah III.

Judah III. is also known as Judah ha - Sheni Nesi'a and is equal to the mean of which Judah I. to distinguish which is generally known under the name Judah ha - Nasi.
