Judd Hirsch

Judd Hirsch ( born March 15, 1935 in Bronx, New York, USA) is an American actor who became known for his starring role as Alex Reiger on the television series Taxi.

Biography

Judd Hirsch was born in the Bronx in New York, his parents were mother Sally Hart Kitzis and Father Joseph Sidney Hirsch, who worked as an electrician. Judd was raised in a Jewish family, his father was a Russian immigrant. He attended De Witt Clinton High School and later studied physics at the City College of New York. With his first wife he was married from 1956 to 1958. In 1992, he married Bonnie Sue Chalkin, from 2003, he already parted again. Hirsch has three children: Alexander Fenton, Montana deer and London Rocket.

For the lead role of Alex Reiger, he played in the television series Taxi, which aired from 1978 to 1983 on ABC and later with NBC, he earned great fame for the first time, also in Germany.
