Judith Lefeber
Judith Mahdavi Lefeber ( born March 14, 1981 in Manipal, Karnataka, India ) is a German singer.
Biography
Judith Lefeber was born in India and adopted at the age of six months of German parents who have already had a seven- year-old son at this time. She grew up in Rheda -Wiedenbrück.
Lefebers musical talent was encouraged early on by her parents. With four years, she took piano and ballet lessons and completed five years along with other piano students the first public appearance. At the same time she discovered her love of singing and sang up to the age of 14 in the choir of St. Aegidius Mädchenkantorei in Wiedenbrück. She also received three years professional individual singing lessons. During this time she completed jointly with a neighbor boy who was a student of the Music Academy Münster and Lefeber was accompanied at the piano, numerous small gigs. He was also her musical companion in the regional competition " Young Musicians " in 1997, that Lefeber in her age group in the area of Voice ( Soprano) took second place. Post-high school Lefeber deepened her vocal training and studied as a young student at the Detmold Academy of Music Singing ( mezzo-soprano) and piano. Later she joined the Folkwang School in Essen.
When casting show Germany sucht den Superstar came Lefeber 2002, the last ten candidates, but rose by its own account for psychological burdens voluntarily, even though they had each took first place in the first two live shows. In the third live show, her exit was announced.
In autumn 2003, her debut album In My Dreams came on the market. The two singles I Will Follow You and Everybody Does were released. There followed then many TV and live performances. Due to a casting, she received the lead role of Aida in Elton John and Tim Rice's musical of the same name in Essen in 2004. In addition, Lefeber released her second album called In My Room. In September 2006, Judith Lefeber ensemble member in the musical revue Musical Close Up. They extended their commitment for the season 2007/2008, finished it but because of her pregnancy early for Christmas break. Her daughter came in 2008 to the world. From January to July 2009 Lefeber played the role of Dionne in the musical Hair at the Staatstheater Kassel. On 24 April 2009 her single Two Mothers appeared.
In addition to various performances, among others in " Classics under the stars" in Zwickau and Chemnitz and "Sounds of Hollywood" in various cities (eg Reichenbach, Greiz and Black Mountain ), both with the Vogtland Philharmonic Orchestra, she played again in the musical Aida, the title role in the Theater Chemnitz (September 2011 to June 2012 ) and Queen - Another Kind of Magic at the Staatstheater in Kassel.
In 2012, she stood in Meiningen and Eisenach again as Dionne in the musical Hair on the stage. In the new season (2013/2014) it is again in Chemnitz, the "Aida" play, also in Kassel at the State Theatre, the "Lucy" participate in Jekyll & Hyde and in the production disco in concert.

Germany sucht den Superstar
Lefeber was founded in 2002 by the successful format Germany seeks the superstar known. After a total of three rounds of casting, she was finally one of the last ten candidates. But Lefeber was the hype about the show too much and she left after the second Mottoshow voluntarily the show.

Aida (Musical)
From October 2004 to July 2005 Judith Lefeber played the lead role in the musical Aida. After two years of playing time, including cast turn of 2004, was passed in 2005, the final curtain at the Colosseum Theater in Essen, before the musical went on tour in Germany. Lefeber, however, ended their involvement in Elton John and Tim Rice's hit musical with the last show at the Colosseum Theater on July 22, 2005. From September 2011 to June 2012 she was at the Chemnitz Opera as Aida on stage, where she is also active as of October 2013 is.
Hair ( Musical)
In the season 2009/2010 Judith Lefeber sang the role of Dionne in the musical Hair in the Kassel State Theatre and the National Theatre Mannheim. In the 2012/2013 season she also plays in the theaters Meiningen and Eisenach Dionne.
