Judith Sargentini
Sargentini ( born March 13, 1974 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch politician of the party Groen Links.
Life
After her schooling at the Gymnasium in Amsterdam Spinozalyceum Sargentini studied history at the University of Amsterdam. Since 1990 Sargentini was politically active and became a member of the party " Groen Links ". In 2002 she was elected to the city council of Amsterdam, which she was until 2009.
Since 2009 Sargentini is a member of the Greens / European Free Alliance in the European Parliament at the European Parliament.
MEP
Sargentini is Vice-Chair of the Delegation for relations with South Africa.
She is a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs.
As a deputy she is the Development Committee and the Delegation to the EU -Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee.
