Juhani Peltonen

Matti Juhani Peltonen voitto ( born June 16, 1936 in Valkeakoski, Finland ) is a retired Finnish football players.

The striker began his career in 1954 at the biggest club in his hometown, Haka. There he played until 1964 and later again from 1967 until 1971. During the two intervening seasons, he played for Hamburger SV and was thus the first Finn, who earned his living in the Bundesliga. When HSV, he was not very successful, scoring only 6 goals in 38 games ( nine assists ). Peltonens time in the Hanseatic city ended because Vertragsuneinigkeiten. For Haka, however, he ran 304 times on and shot 109 gates, that he had a very large role in ensuring that the sixties the most successful period in their history have been for his club.

In the national squad was Juhani Peltonen active, namely from 1955 to 1970; at this time it was used 68 times, scoring 11 goals.
