Juhani Suutarinen

Taisto Juhani Suutarinen ( born May 24, 1943 in Uukuniemi ) is a former Finnish biathlete.

He had his greatest moments as he was in Minsk at the World Championships in both first world champion in the sprint over 10 km and 20 km world champion in 1974 in the sport of biathlon. In 1975, he was also world champion with the Finnish relay in Antholz. At the Olympic Winter Games Sapporo in 1972 and Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1976, he finished the season in second place and overtook the silver medal.
