Juho Vennola

Juho Heikki Vennola ( born June 19, 1872 in Oulu, † December 3, 1938 in Helsinki) was a Finnish economist, politician and Prime Minister.

Vennola, who was born as Juho Heikki Karhu, holds a degree in economics. Later he was a professor of economics at the University of Helsinki.

1918 to 1919 he was Deputy Finance Minister. He began his political career with the actual Elected to the Reichstag. There, he represented from 1919 to 1930, the interests of the National Progressive Party ( CEP ). From April to August 1919, he was Minister of Trade and Industry in the cabinet of Kaarlo Castrén.
