Jukka Laamanen

Jukka -Pekka Laamanen ( born October 4, 1976 in Savonlinna ) is a Finnish professional ice hockey player who is since 2008 HPK Hämeenlinna in the SM- liiga under contract.

Career

Jukka -Pekka Laamanen began his career as a hockey player in the 1994/95 season at SaPKo Savonlinna in the second class I Divisioona, for which he had already played in youth. He then moved to JYP Jyväskylä in the SM- liiga, he but left after just one season back to play again for Savonlinna in the second division. He remained there for the next three years, until he ran aground in the 2000 /01 season for Tappara Tampere of the SM - liiga and the second division Hermes Kokkola.

It was followed by another season in which Laamanen both first- and second-class played when he was active for Ilves Tampere and Jukurit Mikkeli. Then managed Laamanen in the 2001/ 02 season, the breakthrough in the SM- liiga, as he prepares for Ässät Pori scored 29 points scorer in 53 games, including eight goals. In the years from 2002 to 2004 played Laamanen again at Ilves Tampere. Then took him HPK Hämeenlinna under contract by which he was first Finnish Champion 2006.

Following this success Laamanen moved to their league rivals Kärpät Oulu, with whom he also won the championship in 2007 and 2008. Before the season 2008/ 09 he finally returned to HPK Hämeenlinna.

Internationally

For Finland Laamanen at the Junior World Championship in 1996 and the A World Cup 2007 took part. In the 2007 World Cup, he won the silver medal with his team.
