Julia Drusilla (daughter of Caligula)

Julia Drusilla ( 40 AD *, † January 24, 41 AD) was the only daughter of the Roman Emperor Caligula and the Milonia Caesonia.

Life

Suetonius called Iulia Drusilla, which was named after his late favorite of Caligula 's sister Drusilla, with their two names; at Cassius Dio they only called Drusilla. According to the latter author Iulia Drusilla was born 30 days after Caligula's wedding with Milonia Caesonia and the Emperor had seen the fact reinforces the belief in his own divinity.
